COLOURS on GREY at the Glen Innes Market !!
It is very easy to be inspired by the amazing colours of autumn here in The New England. The April weather has been warmer than usual and I have enjoyed every minute of it both outside taking photos around the area and inside the studio painting.
The month of May is shaping up to be a busy month.
Colours on Grey will be at the Glen Innes Market this Sunday the 12th of May from 8 am to 12 noon.
Art & Craft supplies, notebooks, paper, cards and more will be available for sale at greatly reduced prices as I am still selling my remaining stock from the shop.
Most of which also can be found in The Online Shop.
I do hope the weather will be as glorious as it has been the last 3 weeks.
The next Tuesday Art Lessons is on May 14th
Morning session starts at 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and afternoon session starts at 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. You can read more about the art lessons here.
Another Weekend Workshop has been planned for May 18th and/or 19th
You can choose to participate for 1 or 2 days. This time we will be experimenting with colours creating images of your own choice using acrylic paint.
Anyone – from beginner to advanced – can join in. There is no previous experience needed or minimum skill level required. – it is in truth about having fun and enjoying being creative.
As the new treasure of The Glen Innes Art Gallery I have to mention the opening of our biggest show, The Glen Archies Portrait Competition & Exhibition.
The opening is on Saturday 25th of May at 4 pm.
For those of you who are not familiar with this exhibition is a biannual event with entries from near and far with a total of $ 2100.- in prize money for the winners in the 3 categories – painting, photography and sculpture.
I have yet to see the entries but it is usually a show of high quality, so I hope to see you there.
Have fun and stay creative!
