COLLAGE & MIXED MEDIA ART CLASS
The next Art Class will be held on
SUNDAY the 24th of JUNE 2012 from 10 am to 4.30 pm
Everyone can participate in this art class – whether you are an avid beginner or have previous experience. It is a great way to connect and share experiences with others as well as learning new skills.
This class will again explore the art of collage using recycled and new paper materials together with paint and pen to create striking images. I was truly amazed by the beautiful artworks the first class did and everyone was extremely happy with their results.
Collage is an art form all can enjoy at very low cost and artworks can be produced without any specialised tools.
This workshop will cover a short history of collage & mixed media in art-making and how to approach image design, basic colour theory and a few demonstrations. Each participant will produce a couple of collages for cards and a small 10 x 10 cm artwork of their own design.
