Description
This is a one off because of the way the glaze has transformed on the surface of this vessel. I’ve used a mix of white and sage green glaze, but it has in some part come up beautifully translucent.
The surface is glazed with a food-safe, non-toxic glaze, so when the candle is burned out, you will have a lovely tea/coffee mug.
This set is made with attention to detail and intentional imperfections. This results in variation in shape and colour from piece to piece. These differences are embraced, as they are a part of the handmade process. Please note that the colours also may vary slightly due to differences in computer screens.
Each piece is cut, shaped and coloured by one pair of hands from start to finish. I find inspiration in nature and the 1960’s Scandinavian Design I grew up with.
Made to be used and loved every day. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash is recommended. Due to the coarse clay it is not recommended for microwave.
