Rustic, heart shaped candlelight holder.
The key ingredient in the Danish terminology ‘Hygge’ is the candle. We Danes loves candles, – especially around Christmas time.
This candlelight holder is inspired by Christmas – my favorite season of the year.
It will sometimes require a bit of blue tack (or a bit of foil wrapped around the bottom of the candle) to steady a standard size candle.
Each piece is cut, shaped and coloured by one pair of hands from start to finish.
The surface is glazed with a food-safe, non-toxic glaze. The base and some edges are left raw, thereby showing the natural beauty of the clay giving it a gorgeous rustic and organic feel.
This candlelight holder is made with attention to detail and intentional imperfections. This results in variation in shape and colour from piece to piece. These differences are embraced, as they are a part of the handmade process. Please note that the colours also may vary slightly due to differences in computer screens and that the candle is not included.
Made to be used and loved every day. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash is recommended.
