A cute little set of 3 – hand shaped cup, oval plate and a little heart in raw clay.
The cup and plate has been pinched into shape (a long, but very soothing and calm process). They have been glazed with a soft semi-gloss glaze. The bottom is left unglazed to show the natural beauty of the clay. The clay heart can be used as a Christmas tree decoration or as an essential oil diffuser (instruction enclosed)
Inspired by the Australian nature and the 1960’s Scandinavian Design I grew up with.
All my ceramics are shaped and coloured by one pair of hands from start to finish. They have a gorgeous rustic and organic feel. Made from speckled and textured Australian stoneware clay. The surface is glazed with a food-safe, non-toxic glaze.
Cups and plates are made with attention to detail and intentional imperfections. This results in variation in shape and colour from piece to piece. These differences are embraced as they are a part of the handmade process.
Made to be used and loved every day. Dishwasher safe, but hand wash is always recommended. Due to the coarse nature of the clay it is not recommended for microwave.
Colours may also vary slightly due to differences in computer screens.
The cup is medium sized and holds approx. 200ml.
